Certified Courses in Industrial Rope Access
U-Rope Access offers certified courses related to work at
heights
U-Rope Access offers a wide palette of different training and
education, related to industrial rope access. With a staff of
educated and experienced instructors, U-Rope Access offers a
high degree of quality and safety at the courses. The training
can be made in English, French, German and Danish.
Safety at heights in the wind turbine industry
At this course you will go through the theory surrounding
fall-factors, EN-norms and standards, ladders, AT-guidelines as
well as control of self. Practical exercises cover a.o.
evacuation and partner rescue. The course is not convertible for
all wind turbine manufacturers. Call with enquiries.

- Requirements: none
Belt- and fall dampening
During this course you will go through belts and fall dampening
tools. The theoretical parts include fall factors, EN-norms and
standards, ladders, AT-guidelines as well as control of self.
Practical exercises include control and belt fixing.
- Length of course: 1 day.
- Requirements: none.
Rescue at heights
This course is an extended rescue course, where training will be
done in different rescue systems, knots and rescue equipment.
The course finishes with an exam.
- Length of course: 5 days.
- Requirements: Must have attended a U-Rope Access safety at
heights courses or similar.
Behaviour course
No matter how much safety equipment, procedures etcetera are
being given to the staff, it is the individuals attitude and
understanding of the company’s safety procedures, general legal
requirements as well as use of personal equipment, which is the
deciding factor for reaching the company’s targets for
optimising safety and minimising work related accidents. This
course therefore is offered in close coordination with the
safety departments of companies.

Rope Access Courses, level 1 to 3
U-Rope Access is via the IRATA membership, an accredited
training centre. Therefore we can offer IRATA Rope Access
courses from Level 1 to 3. These courses are specifically made
for those who wishes to work professionally with rope access.
The courses contains theory with equipment, fall factors, EN and
BS norms and standards, AT-guidelines, control of self, knots
etcetera. Practical exercises comprises climbing, attaching
knots and rescue.
- Length of course: 5 days.
- Requirements Level 1: Good physical shape, healthy.
- Requirements Level 2: As Level 1, as well as a log of minimum
1,000 hours by an IRATA supervisor and a period of minimum 12
months between each level.
- Requirements Level 3: As Level 1 and 2.
- The courses finish with an exam.
